What attendees are saying about my trainings…
Awesome presenter, and presentation! Looking forward to the next series! It’s crucial that we as educators build up awareness around SM in the school setting because these children need us to advocate for them in the early years. Many children are overlooked as either being shy or just being defiant and refusing to talk. It’s also very overlooked because many times these students can and are able to do just the bare minimum to get by day to day but are truly struggling on the inside.
I totally appreciated your teaching style! A nice mix of discussion, videos and slides. I feel like I have a much better understanding of Selective Mutism. Will highly recommend your webinars to others!
I appreciate all the work you’ve put into these presentations, and found all of the information relevant to my career and needs. It’s obvious you care deeply for the world of SM, and that made it encouraging to ask questions/have open discussions. Often times, it can be intimidating to approach someone who is as experienced as you are, but I found that wasn’t the case at all. You’re doing wonderful work!
Thank you again! This has been so helpful! Lot’s of examples, resources mentioned, the knowledge of the presenter and videos to highlight examples.
Thank you so much for this organized, informative, training and for providing helpful follow-up resources for continued education and growth. You are a wonderful resource!
Thank you so very much. I am so grateful our paths have crossed and our District will be consulting with you to support my student and family. I very much look forward to collaborating with you and the other members on our Team. I am also looking forward to any and all future workshops you will be holding in the future. I really enjoyed SM 101.
Thanks so very much! I CANNOT wait to start working with you as a consultant. You are going to LOVE this student and I know you will be able to help us give her “Brave Voice” back! 🙂
Annie, LOVED participating in this webinar!! You do an excellent job of keeping the pace of your presentations interesting by varying talking with video clips and your slide presentation. I never felt that you were talking down to us. You come across as being truly excited about sharing your knowledge! And thank you for allowing questions throughout!
I can think of nothing but high praise for the excellent teaching and all the information and further resources that Annie DiVello provided me on Selective Mutism. I had never heard of this disorder until this year and definitely needed and wanted to gather as much information as I possibly can. I will also plan on enrolling in the SM 102 zoom class that she will be offering in May.
Thank you so much for this informative series. Your knowledge base, video clips of treatment, and many examples were invaluable!
Ms. DiVello communicated to us with such sweetness and immense knowledge; A truly wonderful, caring and enthusiastic presenter. Many thanks for your time and knowledge.
Thank you for your passion and expertise! I will definitely do things differently next time I encounter someone who may have or does have SM. Thank you!
